The world turns

I've spend a grand weekend playing Rogue Trooper on the X-Box, again. Followed by two glorious hours of the Pink Floyd P-U-L-S-E concert DVD and finally rounded Sunday off with a few Eric Clapton albums!

Kevin, the Narrator for the Terra Incognita Podiobook has tentatively said he'd be round Thursday to hammer out more chapters - he's exceptionally busy most of the time and rather difficult to fix a time with, which is a real shame as I'd like to be ploughing on...

Janetta, who very kindly voiced the dialogue for Major Cole has been hard at work creating four graphics of her character. I've created a new page, just for Major Natasha Cole, and there's a very brief bio of the character as well as Janetta's pictures.

I'm also beginning to considered the next book in the series - Praetor - as a Podiobook as well - already had a friend say they'd be interested in voicing a character... We'll have to see how things progress with this one and also how many of those from Terra Incognita would be willing to reprise their characters...

We have family visiting next week, so I have the week off work. Hopefully it won't rain that often; although with the normal weather in Ireland we could have bright sun in the morning, snow over lunch and fog for the afternoon. It certainly keeps you guessing!

There's been some lively posts on the Starship Sofa forums about computers old and new - mostly old Vic20, ZX-81, ZX-Spectrum, Commodore and the like. As well as welcoming some new members to the Good ship Sofa, we've had some discussions about time travel and the most likely visited time in history.

All good, clean fun!

Cheers,

Gary
